Full house refurbishment and extension of a 1950s house in Newton Mearns.

Transformation of a 1960s house in Newton Mearns, for which we secured planning and building warrant approval.

 

We’ve been using AI renders to revisit the scheme and explore how the original ideas might have developed with continued involvement.

 

A new two-storey extension introduces first-floor bedrooms above a double garage, with a utility space and rear garden lounge.

 

The existing house has been reconfigured to create a more open-plan layout, strengthening the connection to the garden and surrounding landscape.

 

A quiet balance of renewal and continuity.
